We only have one body, so let’s take care of it and make it look good!
I’ve had a passion for fitness for as long as I can remember. Growing up in sunny southern California, I filled my days either on the gymnastics beam or strapping on my cleats to go play soccer. On road trips, my parents would have to pull over our car to tire me out. “Time to exercise Stephanie!” they’d say, scouting for a rest stop. While the rest of my fourth-grade classmates were spending their allowances on dolls and action figures, I was begging my parents to order the workout videos I saw on infomercials, and then playing them at all my sleepovers. Simply put, I’ve always loved fitness.
Following a gymnastics injury in high school, I had the opportunity to assist in training the junior varsity team. It was then that I realized that I didn’t just love fitness as a whole, but I loved teaching fitness. From that point on, I took every exercise class imaginable—I could not get enough of it! But still I always thought of fitness as a hobby, not my future career.

After graduating, I left California to study psychology and literature at TCU in Fort Worth, TX. While attending classes there, I began taking a Pilates mat work course at a local studio, and it was like falling in love all over again. I became fascinated by the movements and by the insights of the instructor. Almost immediately, I knew I had found my calling. I devoted myself to my certification, and thus my career was born.
Seeing these results inspired me to keep innovating. I had D Method Pilates and D Barre… what to add next? I wanted to introduce a detoxification routine to the mix. Once again, I turned to my lifelong passion for inspiration. As a child, I loved trampolines. Even as an adult I kept a gigantic one in the backyard. Trampolines proved to be the perfect addition to D Method. Rebounding, in fact, is one of the most effective detox tools, and even offers fat loss and an unbeatable core workout. My rebounding workout—D Bounce—is done only on German-made Bellicon rebounders, the highest quality rebounders in the world. Bellicon rebounders use resistance cords instead of springs to support the joints and protect against osteoporosis. Plus, D Bounce is just plain fun! You’ll enjoy it as much as your body will.
I love what I do! I’m following my passion and changing lives. There is no greater reward for me than watching my clients transform, both physically and emotionally. Seeing the woman in the back of the room who wouldn’t be caught dead in anything but long sleeves start showing up to class confident in her tight, black tank top to plié and curtsy with the music--that is priceless, and that’s why I love what I do. If I can make at least one woman feel better about herself then it has been a successful day.
