The knee is the largest joint in the body and one of the most easily injured.

Menisci, ligaments, tendons and surrounding muscles are often the cause to knee injury. Some people are also more likely to develop knee problems than others because many jobs, sports and recreation activities, or getting older, or having a disease such as osteoporosis or arthritis increase the chances of having problems with the knee.
